1. What we collect
When you create an account, buy a license, start a trial, or submit the contact form, we store your name, email, phone (if provided), and the details you submit. We store a hashed device identifier to manage per-device licensing. We do not store raw hardware IDs.
2. Your documents stay on your computer
EZ-Summary and EZ-Extract process PDF files locally on your device. The contents of your documents are never uploaded to our servers. Only licensing, usage counts (page numbers, not content), and update checks are transmitted.
3. How we use your data
To issue and validate licenses, enforce plan limits, send transactional emails (receipts, license keys, support replies), notify waitlist members on launch, and prevent abuse and fraud.
4. Billing
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe stores payment metadata linked to your customer record.
5. Data retention
Usage records are retained for 24 months for billing reconciliation and abuse analysis, then deleted. Account and license data is kept while your account is active and deleted on request.
6. Your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data by emailing info@visiongrid.net.
