End-User License Agreement

This EULA governs installation and use of EZ-Summary and EZ-Extract (the "Software") by VisionGrid.
1. Per-device license
Each license may be activated on one device. Licenses are transferable between devices by deactivating one before activating another.
2. Activation and validation
The Software contacts VisionGrid servers to activate licenses, verify entitlements, count usage, and check for updates. A stable hashed device identifier is used for licensing. The Software requires periodic online validation; an offline grace period applies, after which processing is paused until reconnection.
3. No document content transmitted
Document contents are processed locally and are never sent to VisionGrid servers.
4. Restrictions
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, rent, lease, sublicense, or distribute the Software or license keys beyond your licensed devices.
5. Updates
The background update service may deliver bug fixes, security fixes, and compatibility patches automatically. Updates do not include new features, new applications, or other products. A license entitles you to fixes and patches for the version you purchased — the Software remains in the condition you bought it. Lifetime licenses receive fixes and patches for the purchased version only and do not include feature updates or access to other products. Subscriptions receive fixes and patches while the subscription is active.
6. Termination
This license terminates on cancellation, refund, or breach. Upon termination you must deactivate and uninstall the Software.
7. Limitation of liability
VisionGrid's liability is limited to the amount paid in the preceding 12 months. The Software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
